USA! USA!

Foster the People, "Pumped Up Kicks," Sony

Summer is basically here and that means the Olympics are just around the corner. In preparation for the London Games, our U.S. athletes will be listening to a wide variety of music to get them fired up to compete. There are the typical USA songs that make you proud to be an American, like Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the U.S.A.” or James Brown’s “Living in America” but I suspect our athletes need some more up-to-date tracks to give them the energy and emotion they look for while training. It could be a song that has the lyrics need to fire you up or simply a pounding beat to get your adrenaline flowing. Either way, below is a playlist to get the fans and athletes ready for the 2012 London Games.
