What DJ Roueche has in the queue for the FIVB Grand Slam in Long Beach.

DJing professional beach volleyball events for 10 years has been an amazing experience. I have been able to travel all around the country and further my career as a DJ for sporting events. I’ve watched athletes at the top of their game, developed lifelong friendships, and gotten to work for a sport that I love. Now, after a decade of providing the soundtrack for domestic tours, I will get to play music for the international community as the FIVB descends on Long Beach, Calif., July 22-28. Of course, I will bring my characteristic sound that everyone is accustomed to—for better or worse!—to this event, but now I get to show off my international-music knowledge as well. I look forward to meeting some of the international players whose careers I’ve been following and picking their brains about music in their countries. Until then, here’s a playlist of some of the top songs you can expect to hear at the LBC event.
