The high school volleyball seasons tend to present no shortage of story lines, and this year was no exception. As we do each year at this time, we present the VBM Boys High School All-American Awards that recognize the best of the best in boys high school volleyball. These awards differ from our Boys Fab 50 list, which rates the top 50 senior boys players in the country and takes into consideration all facets of a player’s game. Our high school awards are based on players performances during their high school seasons only. In addition to our All-American teams, we also present the player, coach, and team of the year honors. Our player and team of the year honors come from the Southern California region and tell two great stories of individual and team accomplishment, while our coach of the year honor spotlights an individual who helped one Wisconsin team make history. These awards are based on staff selection and the input of high school coaches from around the country.
