Ehman’s B1G Volleyball Thursday: Michigan State’s Naya Gros

Michigan State senior Naya Gros made a splash the second she stepped foot on campus.

Not only has she had a strong volleyball career, but the 6-foot-3 middle blocker from New Orleans talked about being so involved outside of her sport. She’s the Michigan State student body vice president, a four-time community service award winner, and she’s an MSU peer support leader and executive committee representative

She said the Spartans have been working to flip the script after a tough spring season, and, of course, tells us where she likes to eat in East Lansing:

We are interviewing one player from each of the 14 Big Ten programs before the start of the season. Previously on B1G Volleyball Thursday, we talked to Ohio State’s Emily LondotPurdue’s Taylor Trammell, Wisconsin’s Dana Rettke, Penn State’s Gabby Blossom, Indiana’s Brooke Westbeld, Michigan’s Jess Mruzik, Maryland’s Rainelle Jones, and Nebraska’s Nicklin Hames.
